The Stitchers' Village

 Since the initial disbelief and excitement at my new adventure of participating in The Stitchers' Village management have calmed a bit, I have been pondering the concept of The Stitchers' Village Global Needlearts Community. The opportunity which it presents to meet so many wonderful people that we would not meet otherwise, is amazing. To find so many to share, inspire, and communicate with about a common interest - needlework - is a gift. I am glad to be here and look forward to making many new acquaintances. Whether you are new to needlework or have vast experience, together we can teach, learn, encourage, enable, and praise about projects whether big or small. I am also excited to work with the shops of The Stitchers' Village to bring you the best in needlework supplies. Be sure to check with each of the shops to see what they have to offer. That brings us to the May opportunity for prize-winning. The first - I would love to hear about your stitching friends. Whether it is online or in person, I invite you to email me with your story. How you met, how often you get together, etc. All entries should be submitted to pattytsv@gmail.com with the subject line of STITCHING FRIENDS. They will be entered into a random drawing for a prize. The favorite will be (with your permission) included in the June newsletter and will also win a prize. The second entry (and third prize drawing in May) will be for those of you who have submissions to the "Suggestion Box".
