TSV Social Official Launch

I have been inactive for a couple of years and am re-launching the social area and information area of The Stitchers' Village.  Plans are in the works for the first activity. The main focus of the site is for members to share what projects are in the works and interact with fellow needle enthusiasts without an overwhelming amount of other content.  Also, I am encouraging designers and shops to participate to keep us informed of current releases and products of interest.

I first sent an email to members who had most recently visited the Village so I could test the new platform.  This week, an email was sent through Constant Contact to all emails on the list there.  I wanted to make use of that service before cancelling on 9/28, the next billing cycle.  There were thousands on that list and not all of them were active members.  So, that was the last email through CC and I have an email subscription option through Mailchimp.  It had a compatible plugin with the current social area platform, so that is the service I am now using for The Stitchers' Village emails.  

I know it may take some time to rebuild the social area, but hope that it will be a new, improved version of our old needlework home.
