"Finished" this and ordered a frame. (There may be some berries I skipped.) I really like this design and am happy to get it done and framed. I ordered the frame for the Magic Meadow piece but haven't gotten it yet. I ordered the frame from a local shop. I always pin my projects to foam core board and put them in the frame myself. It did not seem to make sense to the person taking my frame order. Particularly when I said I am not leaving the stitched piece. I also had to help her figure out the size of the frame by measuring the stitched area and adding equal space around. Did not make me confident on what I will receive, but my next option for a frame is about 30 miles away. I always think I will be going there but never seem to make it. Even though the Tasty Pastry shop is in the square with the frame shop. Best donuts!!
I am trying to get some projects finished. Particularly, those that do not have much left. I set this one aside because I was avoiding the parts that were scattered. My attention span can't handle certain things at times. I am making progress on the "Autumn Quakers" portion of my other big project. It took some time for me to get it into the right scroll frame and develop a plan of attack. I decided to go with one page at a time rather than try to go with the thread I was using and fill in on the pages across. If that does not make sense, the chart is in a book and is divided into 9 sections each on a page. I thought it would work for me to continue across the top three sections with the thread color I was using. Did not work for me. I have wanted to stitch it for a long time. I will keep at it and keep you posted.
