November 2010
We have had beautiful Fall weather here in Kansas. I do not
know where the time gets away to, but we are moving in to the holiday season.
The link to the ornament issue is being fine-tuned. It will be available
Wednesday, Nov. 3. I hope you enjoyed the Halloween stitch along and the fun
design “Witch Parking Only” from Glendon Place as well as the chat with Cheryl
Granda, the designer. The Tea Shoppe Forum and the chat are now linked together
in the new social area of The Stitchers’ Village. I regret that this does require
a new sign in registration to use these functions, but I believe you will all
find this to be much more interactive and will allow members to connect. This
does not replace the home site. This is strictly the social area of The
Stitchers’ Village. The home site will continue to host the shops, classes, the
library, and all the excellent resources. This is the heart of the Village and
we want to keep this strong as we add the social modules to enhance it.
The Stitchers’ Village 2010 Ornaments Ornaments from Old
Willow Stitchery and Rosewood Manor are two of the ornaments that will be
released on Wednesday in The Stitchers’ Village 2010 Ornament Issue of the
“Stitchers’ Voice”. The link to the file will be in the newspaper office on the
bulletin board. As of the publish time of this edition, the link was still
being fine tuned. You will need to sign in with the email you used when you
registered on The Stitchers’ Village and the password will be the city listed
on your registration form. We hope that you will take time to thank the
generous designers who contributed the beautiful ornament designs and
hopefully, they will visit us in the Village soon!
