 March is here and with it comes Springtime!! I am so looking forward to the end of the winter weather. Also this month is St’ Patrick’s Day. It’s the time of year when many display their Irish heritage or at least don the green to fit in with the crowd! If you noticed on the front - at the end of our thread rainbow is a golden needle! I hope that everyone will remember to stitch a bookmark or two for the 2011 Stitching for Literacy Bookmark Challenge which was started by Jen from Funk & Weber designs. Also, this month, there will be a special contest format and notice will be sent when it is posted. I hope that you all enjoy the new idea and will participate. In case you have missed it - the social area has added “Groups” there are 4 at the moment “Mirabilia Stitchers”, “CEC Mitten Fans”, “Sampler Addicts”, and “Blackbird Designs”. This will allow members to narrow their focus to find others who are interested in similar stitching.
