"Wild Garden" by Blackbird Designs

I had the great pleasure of attending the TNNA Needlework Market in Nashville, TN this past weekend. It is historically a cross stitch show, but does have vendors from a number of areas of needle work. I visited with many designers and picked up a few items here and there for drawing prizes. It is always wonderful to see so much in a show setting. There are many creative and talented people involved in this industry. March has come in like a lamb here in the center of the US. I know there were some storms that caused damage in a few small towns nearby and that Nebraska had it’s first recorded tornado in February this week. I hope all are safe and sound wherever you live. The Village is global and the climates are varied.

The Stitchers’ Village Sampler Project News The Stitchers’ Village Sampler Project was recently on display at TNNA’s Needlework Market show in Nashville, TN. I reported a length of 141 inches in January’s newsletter, but upon consultation, have revised the number to reflect the actual stitched area which is now at 97.5”. The picture here is what will be appearing in an upcoming issue of The Needlework Retailer magazine. This is a trade magazine that goes out to shops. In it is a suggestion to shops that they might have their stitch groups stitch sections at a stitch night. I hope that they will participate and help to grow the project. Thank you to those who have contributed sections. To those who are stitching their sections. - I look forward to seeing them!! I hope that all TSV members will consider contributing a section or have their stitch groups dedicate an evening to the Sampler Project. It would be a great opportunity to get help and some inspiration for content for your section if that is what is holding you back
