June 2021 V13 I6

June (this newsletter is one of the three “catch up” ones and is being written the end of June) has brought a great big sigh of relief for me. We emptied out and turned in the keys to my Mom’s apartment and have everything moved for her to Assisted Living. She seems in much better spirits there than in the apartment where she had been living. She has activities and has to eat in the common dining room. This has given her the socialization that I think was missing for her before.

I have gotten back to stitching the Tiny Modernist design “Mermaid Garden”. I am almost finished with it and will frame it and send it to my granddaughters in Florida. Both of their birthdays are in August and they share a room. I also plan to stitch their names on coordinating fabric. This newsletter also catches me up on the Stitch This designs through June. Now, I just need to stay on track and remember—June is almost over!!!!
